The Shell Center for Sustainability's mission is to foster an interdisciplinary program of research, outreach, and education to address actions that can be taken to ensure the sustainable development of communities' living standards, interpreted broadly, to encompass all factors affecting the overall quality of life.

Senior Consultant
Shell Projects & Technology

Debra is Senior Consultant with Shell  Projects & Technology.  In this role, she provides technology services to projects in downstream  portfolio management and sustainable development. Her career spans roles in environmental services,  divestiture management and Ethics & Compliance Governance Management. Debra actively supports education and student efforts, serving  over the years in various roles as a mentor, committee  member and leader in organizations such as Early Identification in Engineering, American Association of University Women, Shell Affinity Networks and Rice University Women Early Initiative Math & Science Program. Debra holds degrees in Chemical Engineering (Bachelor of Science) and Environmental Engineering (Masters) ; and a Certificate from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania in Business & Leadership Studies.
